Madden
Founder
and President of AgileCat
Peter
Madden founded AgileCat in 1999 as a marketing agency specializing
in corporate identity, brand marketing, advertising and
design, public relations, and website development. AgileCat
has been named Innovative Business of the Year in Philadelphia
by the Center City Proprietors Association for branding
and design. AgileCat was also honored with a PRSA Pepperpot
Award for public relations work. In 2006, Peter was
named as one of the 40 most influential businesspeople in
Philadelphia under the age of 40. Peter was also named as
a Vanguard by Philadelphia Style in December of
2005.
Peter and AgileCat have been featured in USA Today,
The Philadelphia Business Journal, Philadelphia Style, BrandWeek,
ADV Magazine, on CN8, The Comcast Network, Y100 FM,
and in The Los Angeles Times, which called Peter
‘ingenious.’ The Philadelphia Business Journal
and The Philadelphia Inquirer often quote Peter
on issues related to advertising, branding and marketing.
He is also one of only 5 individuals who contribute articles
on Small Agencies to Advertising Age, one of the most respected
publications in the world covering advertising since 1930.
Peter
is a member of The Union League, where he is Secretary of
The Entrepreneurs’ RoundTable, and on the Membership
Enhancement Committee. He is on the Board of Directors for
the 21st Century Society, which supports the Philadelphia
Orchestra. He is a member of The Philadelphia Chamber of
Commerce, NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts &
Sciences) and has been a regular on panels for NARAS, noted
as an expert in branding and media relations, designated
by this organization responsible for the prestigious GRAMMY
Awards. He is also a member of the Philly Ad Club, Public
Relations Society of America, and the Philadelphia Public
Relations Association.
In
addition, Peter is an accomplished jazz musician and performs
with some of the top players in the Philadelphia Region.
He has also written a feature-length screenplay “Fortunate,”
a fictional story about the redemption of a jazz musician,
and his road back to success.
